Job Description:
A fun seasonal lakeside bar and grill seeks highly energic bartender that will greet bar guests, take orders, and provide exceptional quality and service to our guests.
Setting the bar and tables in the bar section with menus and utensils, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests to the venue.
Process guests' payments Greet guests upon departure.
Coordinate with servers/bussers about available seating.
Maintain clean reception area.
Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.
g.
children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and answer guests' questions.
Assist servers as needed.
Follow all policies and standard operation procedures (e.
g.
uniform policy) Availability to work shifts as needed.
Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
Make suggestions based on guests tastes and preferences.
Build rapport with guests and create a positive atmosphere.
Teamwork Competencies:
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Tips certification (will train) Understanding of unique and complementary flavor profiles.
Accountability in maintaining inventory.
Ability to evaluate policies regarding consumption of alcohol.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout the property (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 40 pounds Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, damp, and loud/noisy environment PandoLogic.
